Who's playing: Anthony Davis shows up on Lakers injury report before Spurs game
Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs due to a right foot injury.
Davis suffered the injury in the Lakers' 113-104 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. He played through the pain and finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds, but he was clearly not at full strength.
The Lakers are already without LeBron James, who is out with a left ankle injury. If Davis is unable to play, it will be a major blow to their chances of winning against the Spurs.
Davis has been a key player for the Lakers this season, averaging 26.6 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game.
In his absence, the Lakers will need to rely on other players to step up, such as Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, and Dennis Schroder.
The Lakers are currently 33-22 on the season and are in fifth place in the Western Conference. They are 1.5 games behind the fourth-place Denver Nuggets.
The Spurs are 30-25 on the season and are in eighth place in the Western Conference. They are 2.5 games behind the seventh-place Portland Trail Blazers.
The Lakers will be looking to avenge their 121-113 loss to the Spurs on February 12. In that game, Davis had 25 points and 12 rebounds, but James was out with an injury.
The Lakers and Spurs will tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.
