The lake was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah today.

A new amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 400 has been constructed
A new amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 400 has been constructed near the lake, and will host cultural and entertainment programs.
A cycling track within the park has been revamped and a dedicated area for senior citizens has been developed.
The Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) will maintain the lake and will offer boating facilities.
A stamp exhibition will be held at the lake for 8 days
A stamp exhibition will be held at the lake for 8 days, starting today.
The exhibition will feature 100-year-old stamps, and visitors will have a chance to buy commemorative stamps.
The exhibition has been organized by the Department of Posts.
