Star duo Gyokeres and Isak score as Sweden squeeze past 10-man Slovakia
Sweden fought back from a goal down to beat 10-man Slovakia 2-1 in a friendly on Tuesday.
Slovakia took the lead through Ondrej Duda’s penalty in the 30th minute, but Gyokeres equalized for Sweden just before half-time.
Isak then scored the winner in the 58th minute, after Slovakia’s Martin Koscelnik had been sent off for a second bookable offense.
The victory gives Sweden a boost ahead of their UEFA Nations League campaign, which begins in June.
Slovakia, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back when they face Norway in a friendly on Saturday.
