Spurs Win First Game of the Season
Close Game Against Thunder
Although the Spurs struggled in preseason and did not perform well against the Thunder, they were able to secure a win on their home court. The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than 10 points. The Spurs were able to pull away in the final minutes, thanks to some clutch shooting from Dejounte Murray and Keldon Johnson.
Player Performances
Murray finished the game with 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. Johnson added 22 points and 10 rebounds. Jakob Poeltl also had a strong game, finishing with 15 points and 12 rebounds. For the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 28 points and 7 assists. Josh Giddey also had a good game, finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

With the loss, the Thunder fall to 0-1 on the season. They will look to bounce back when they face the Clippers on Monday. Despite the loss, the Thunder showed some promise in the game. They were able to keep up with the Spurs for most of the game and even led by 6 points in the third quarter.
