Son Heung-min trains with South Korea ahead of World Cup qualifier vs. Palestine

Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has linked up with the South Korea squad ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Palestine.

The 29-year-old arrived in Doha, Qatar, on Monday after featuring in Tottenham's 2-0 win over Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.

Son is expected to play a key role for South Korea in their bid to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

South Korea are currently top of Group H in the Asian qualifiers, with 17 points from seven games.

They need just one point from their remaining two games to secure their place at the World Cup.

Palestine, meanwhile, are bottom of the group with two points from eight games.

The match between South Korea and Palestine will be played at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha on Thursday, March 24.

Kick-off is at 8pm local time (5pm GMT).

Son Heung-min has been in impressive form for Tottenham this season, scoring 17 goals in all competitions.

He will be hoping to continue his good form for South Korea and help them qualify for the World Cup.
