Spurs take 1-0 series lead

The San Antonio Spurs took the first game of the Western Conference Finals in a hard-fought 110-104 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night. The Spurs were led by Kawhi Leonard, who scored 32 points to go along with 10 rebounds and 5 assists. LaMarcus Aldridge also had a strong game, scoring 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

The Thunder were led by Russell Westbrook, who had 37 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. However, Westbrook also had 8 turnovers, which proved to be costly for the Thunder.

The Spurs jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, leading by as many as 15 points in the first half. The Thunder made a run in the third quarter, cutting the lead to just 3 points, but the Spurs were able to hold on for the win.

The Spurs were able to win the game by shooting the ball well from three-point range. They made 11 of 28 three-pointers (39.3%), while the Thunder made just 8 of 29 three-pointers (27.6%).

The Spurs also won the rebounding battle, outrebounding the Thunder 50-36. This allowed them to get second chance opportunities, which proved to be crucial in the win.

The Thunder will look to even the series when they host the Spurs in Game 2 on Tuesday night.
