JJ Redick Signs with the New Orleans Pelicans
JJ Redick Headed To The Big Easy
Former Laker to Join Former Spurs Stars
Former Los Angeles Laker JJ Redick is reportedly signing with the New Orleans Pelicans, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Redick, 37, is a veteran sharpshooter who has played for several teams throughout his career, including the Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, and Dallas Mavericks.
He will join a Pelicans team that is led by former San Antonio Spurs stars Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram.
Redick is expected to provide the Pelicans with a much-needed boost to their outside shooting, as he is one of the most efficient 3-point shooters in NBA history.
He is also a savvy veteran who can help mentor the Pelicans' young players.
The Pelicans are coming off a disappointing season in which they finished 36-46 and missed the playoffs.
With the addition of Redick, they hope to improve their record and make a run at the playoffs in the 2022-23 season.
