Jesse Marsch raves over Hibs star as he responds to 'devastating' blow
Hibs boss Lee Johnson has confirmed that Martin Boyle will miss the rest of the season after suffering a devastating ACL injury.
The news is a huge blow to the Easter Road club as Boyle has been one of their standout performers this season. The winger has scored 11 goals in 25 appearances and has been a key part of Hibs' push for a top-six finish.
Marsch, who is currently in charge of RB Leipzig, has spoken about Boyle's injury and has praised the winger's qualities.
"Martin is a fantastic player and I am very disappointed to hear about his injury," Marsch said.
"He is a dangerous winger who can create and score goals, and he will be a big miss for Hibs.
"I know Martin well from my time at New York Red Bulls and I know that he is a tough character. He will come back from this stronger than ever.
"I wish Martin all the best in his recovery, and I hope to see him back on the pitch soon."
