International Friendly: Germany Thrashes Bosnia 7-0
A dominant display from Germany saw them thrash Bosnia-Herzegovina 7-0 in an international friendly on Friday.
The match was a one-sided affair from the start, with Germany controlling possession and creating numerous chances. The hosts took the lead in the 15th minute when Timo Werner converted a penalty. They doubled their lead just five minutes later through Leroy Sane, who finished off a fine move involving Kai Havertz and Serge Gnabry.
Germany continued to dominate the game in the second half, and they added three more goals in quick succession. Gnabry made it 3-0 in the 55th minute with a superb solo effort, before Havertz and Jonas Hofmann netted in the 62nd and 65th minutes respectively.
Bosnia-Herzegovina offered very little in attack, and they were unable to register a single shot on target. Germany completed the rout in the 89th minute when substitute Youssoufa Moukoko scored his first international goal.
The win was a timely boost for Germany, who are preparing for the 2024 European Championship.
They will be confident of making a strong impact at the tournament, especially with the likes of Werner, Sane, Havertz, and Gnabry in their ranks.
Bosnia-Herzegovina, on the other hand, will be disappointed with their performance. They will need to improve significantly if they want to qualify for the 2024 European Championship.
