Canada survive Jamaica scare
Canada had to dig deep to beat Jamaica 2-1 in their Nations League opener on Tuesday with Cyle Larin's second-half penalty proving the difference.
Junior Flemmings gave Jamaica a shock early lead, but Jonathan Osorio levelled from the spot before the break. Larin won and converted the decisive spot-kick just before the hour.
"Canada dominated possession but struggled to break down Jamaica's defense in the first half. The Reggae Boyz defended resolutely and threatened on the break, with Flemmings giving them a deserved lead after 14 minutes when he fired home a loose ball.
