Celtics' Payton Pritchard: Cleared to play Tuesday
Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard has been cleared to play in Tuesday's game against the Indiana Pacers, according to head coach Ime Udoka.
Pritchard has missed the last three games with a sprained MCL, but he participated in practice on Monday and is expected to be available for Tuesday's contest.
The Celtics are currently 2-1 in Pritchard's absence, but they will be happy to have him back in the lineup. Pritchard is a valuable contributor off the bench, averaging 6.2 points and 2.9 assists per game this season.
With Pritchard back in the fold, the Celtics will have a full complement of guards available for Tuesday's game. Marcus Smart, Dennis Schroder, and Derrick White are all healthy and expected to play.
The Celtics will be looking to extend their winning streak to three games on Tuesday. They will be facing a Pacers team that is 1-2 in their last three games.
