CBSE Board Exam 2025: No reduction in syllabus, confirms board
CBSE refutes reports of 15 per cent syllabus reduction for 2025 board exams
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has refuted reports that it is going to reduce the syllabus by 15 per cent for the 2025 board exams.
In a statement, the board said that the syllabus for the 2025 board exams will remain the same as for the 2023 and 2024 board exams.
The board also said that it is not considering any changes to the exam pattern for the 2025 board exams.
The CBSE's statement comes after reports emerged in the media that the board was considering reducing the syllabus by 15 per cent to ease the burden on students.
The reports had also said that the board was considering changes to the exam pattern, including reducing the number of questions and the time allotted for each question.
However, the CBSE has now clarified that there will be no such changes to the syllabus or the exam pattern for the 2025 board exams.
The CBSE's decision to keep the syllabus and exam pattern unchanged is likely to come as a relief to students and parents who were worried about the potential changes.
Students who are preparing for the 2025 board exams should continue to follow the existing syllabus and exam pattern.
