Cavaliers Keep Rolling, Become 4th Team to Start Season 15-0
Impressive Win Over Hornets Extends Unbeaten Streak
The Cleveland Cavaliers continued their historic start to the season on Tuesday night, defeating the Charlotte Hornets 128-114 to become the fourth team in NBA history to start a season 15-0.
Led by Donovan Mitchell's 32 points and Darius Garland's 24 points, the Cavaliers dominated from start to finish. Cleveland shot 51.4% from the field and held the Hornets to just 42.7% shooting.
Caris LeVert Provides Spark Off the Bench
Caris LeVert provided a much-needed spark off the bench for the Cavaliers, scoring 19 points in 23 minutes of action. LeVert's energy and hustle helped the Cavaliers maintain their lead in the second half.
Hornets Unable to Keep Pace
The Hornets, led by LaMelo Ball's 25 points and Terry Rozier's 21 points, were unable to keep pace with the Cavaliers' hot shooting.
The Cavaliers' 15-0 start is their best start to a season since the 2017-18 season when they went on to reach the NBA Finals.
The Cavaliers will look to continue their unbeaten streak on Thursday night when they host the Golden State Warriors.
Historic Start for Cleveland
The Cavaliers' 15-0 start is just the fourth time in NBA history that a team has started a season with at least 15 straight wins.
- Golden State Warriors (2015-16): 24-0
- Houston Rockets (1993-94): 15-0
- Washington Capitols (1948-49): 15-0
The Cavaliers will look to join the Warriors as the only team to start a season with at least 20 straight wins.
